Countdown Chameleon ("the app") is designed with privacy in mind. This page explains what information the app does — and does not — collect.
Countdown Chameleon does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on any server. We do not have a backend, database, or analytics service connected to the app.
All countdown data you create — destination names, dates, themes, and any optional details like team names, school names, or baby names — is stored locally on your own device using your browser's or app's local storage. This data:
If you use the app's Share feature, an image and/or a link containing your countdown's details (destination, date, theme) may be sent through your device's native share sheet — for example, via Messages, Mail, or other apps you choose. This sharing happens entirely through your device's own share functionality; we do not receive or store a copy of anything shared.
The app's optional Backup feature lets you export your countdown data to a file saved on your own device. This file is never uploaded anywhere by the app — it is yours to keep, move, or delete as you choose.
Countdown Chameleon does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all — all data stays on-device as described above.
